I’m in Weatherford this weekend at Covered Bridge Inn for my biannual scrapbook retreat, a weekend full of wonderful food, creativity, laughter and fellowship with friends. Pat, the owner of Covered Bridge, is an excellent cook and I’m certain that I’ve gained a couple of pounds.
I’m working on my second digital scrapbook, a compilation of my blog and scrapbook pages from 2009. My goal is to make it through April 2009 before the end of the weekend.
Dede and I are learning about custom designing blogs using Photoshop from Cari, the digital scrapbook expert in the group.
Dede, Cari, Shannon and I shared a room and we were some of the last people to go to sleep last night. I went to bed around 2:00 a.m. and Dede, Cari and Connie were up until 3:30 a.m.
We had a Chinese gift exchange and I pulled #1 so I got to make the last pick of the night. I walked away with an adorable bag, note cards and a Michaels gift card.
I’m already looking forward to the retreat in October.

Somebody said you look skinnier in pictures if you hold your arms up.
Crazy Dede!
