St. Vincent’s Cathedral has a pancake supper the night before Ash Wednesday each year. We took the kids tonight. Aleck was so excited about the table decorations and was even more excited when he was allowed to take some beads and a mask home. Aleck also made it home with some orange plastic teeth. He thinks they are cool, but Mommy thinks they are gross because he keeps trying to put them in my hand after they come out of his mouth. Yuck.
The kids ran and played in the courtyard and later paraded through the parish hall with musical instruments. It was so special watching Ella and Aleck play with the kids that they go to school and church with. Great memories!
