Glenda flew into town last night. She is driving back to Mississippi with me and the kids tomorrow and we will spend Spring Break in Mississippi and Alabama visiting family.
Glenda is always telling me I don’t have anything to wear and I need to go shopping. Today’s mission was all about finding me a new wardrobe. Did I tell you that I hate to shop?
I had a list of places we were going to hit. We started with Plato’s Closet, a consignment shop in Grapevine. Why on earth have I not shopped at a consignment shop before? We hit the mother load! In two hours, I had 6 casual shirts, 6 dress blouses, 6 jackets, 6 pairs of shoes, 2 purses and a pair of capris, all for $200.
It has truly been years since I shopped for myself and I didn’t even know what I might like. I love the clothes, but would have never picked out most of the outfits without help. Thanks, sis, for the What Not To Wear adventure. I feel pretty, and you have great style!
