Poo Poo on the Potty!

Ella has tinkled in the potty seat a handful of times in the last four months, but really took an interest in potty training while we were in Alabama a couple of weeks ago.  Since then, she has days when she wants to spend a lot of time in the bathroom, and days when she doesn’t.  When I am changing her diaper, she will point to the bathroom and ask to go potty so we rush to the bathroom.  Earlier this week, she tinkled on the regular potty and refused to use the potty seat again, much to my relief.  I hate cleaning potty seats!

Ella was in the bathtub tonight and she pointed at the toilet and grunted.  I asked if she needed to go potty and she nodded.  When I put her on the toilet, she immediately tinkled but then started to push.  In no time, she went poo poo.  She was so proud of herself and we ran to find Daddy to show him what she had done.  The whole family danced around like crazy people singing the Poo Poo on the Potty song.  I think we will go buy some pretty princess panties tomorrow.  WohooOOOOOOO!
