We celebrated Ella’s birthday today with Nana in Oxford. Aunt Cathy gave Ella her first dollhouse. Ella would role play with the baby, pretending that she was going potty. When the baby was finished, Ella would wash her hands in the dollhouse sink and sing the ABC song, the routine that we go through when Ella goes potty herself. At one point, I looked up and Ella was squatting over the dollhouse potty making a hissing sound, pretending that she was going potty with a big grin on her face.
Ella absolutely loved the doll and stroller from Nana.
Mommy and Daddy gave Ella a trunk of dresses and matching shoes. She donned her Cinderella dress and crown before having her birthday cake. Ella absolutely adores shoes and was so excited about four different pairs of shoes to coordinate with her dresses.
Uncle Mike gave Aleck a transformer and Aleck lined his toys on the table before he enjoyed his birthday cake.
