We checked into One Seagrove Place at noon and headed straight to the beach where we met Dede, Gary, Brooke and Presley. Despite the green algae in the water, we had a great time on the beach. Aleck took a couple of spills in the surf. He inhaled salt water and didn’t want to have anything to do with the ocean after that, but he did spend the rest of the afternoon digging in the sand. Ella loved the water and was fearless in the surf.
We had hamburgers with Michelle and David, friends of Dede’s that are staying down the beach. The kids spent the evening in the pool at Legacy Condominiums. Good times with family, new and old friends.
