We celebrated Eryn’s birthday tonight. Mason spent the afternoon with us, and Eryn came over for a family birthday dinner tonight. We grilled burgers and had ice cream cake, Eryn’s favorite. Ella and Aleck loved singing “Happy Birthday” and playing with Mason. Mason, Ella and Aleck loved the cake as much as Eryn. I think Ella would have eaten the whole cake, given the chance.
We had a great time, but it was bittersweet. Eryn and Mason are moving to Tully, NY next week. Eryn is planning on going into the Navy. Eryn’s mom will care for Mason while Eryn is away.
We love you, Sissy, and Mason Bear, and will miss you more than you know.
