We had a big scare last night. After I put AJ to bed, I could hear him moaning in his sleep. He had never done that before, so Tom and I went in to check on him. When I put my hand on him, he was burning up. I woke him and he was lethargic and listless. When we took his temperature, it was 104.5, so off to the ER we went. He was diagnosed with an inner ear infection, and the chest x-ray showed a mild case of pneumonia. They administered a rocephin shot and a tylenol/motrine combination. His temperature quickly responded, and Aleck began feeling a little better while we where still in the ER. They sent us home with antibiotics. AJ saw Dr. Radimecky, his pediatrician, today. Dr. Radimecky assured us that it is not uncommon for babies to have pneumonia and there is nothing to worry about.

Oh my poor nephew! I sure hope he gets to feeling better soon. Your pedi. is right. It is not uncommon. Connor had it when he was around Aleck's age. Hang in there moma, he's gonna be fine. Give him kisses from aunt Heather!
